Did you know that AFC Urgent Care can perform Sports, Camp, Employment and DOT Physicals?
A physical examination is usually required prior to participating in school or camp activities. At AFC Urgent Care your child will be evaluated by trained, experienced professionals to determine the child’s level of fitness, assess current injuries, and detect any other underlying conditions that may not be readily apparent. We always have board certified physicians on site who will measure child’s height, weight, blood pressure and heart rate and perform a thorough history and physical examination. You will be provided with a copy of the examination findings and a statement attesting to the child’s ability to engage in athletics.
At AFC Urgent Care we are specialists in Employment Physicals as well. Requirements often vary from one employer to the next and can be quite detailed but we serve many local employers, are familiar with their requirements, and have the forms they require.
Department of Transportation (DOT) certification is another of our specialties. The Federal Government requires DOT examination and certification for all commercial drivers. The regulations are quite detailed and complex. All of our providers have had special Federally approved training and testing and are licensed by the Department of Transportation to perform these evaluations.
We are open every day from 8am to 8pm. No appointment needed. For more information, please give AFC Urgent Care of Burlington a call at 781-270-4700.
